Indigo Bunting tattoo commission, pen and inkThought I'd let everyone following this blog know I'm fully open for tattoo commissions and the like right now. I'll be trying to get as many done as possible before school starts, so now's the time to ask if you've ever been curious about getting one! Just email me at ashmackenzie@gmail.com
Other art in the works as well, hopefully some will be seen soon.

This picture looks great! How long did you have to practice to get your illustrations to look so smooth and clean like that?
Hello, beautiful illustration! If I can I make a suggestion - when designing tattoos, try and leave plenty of space between lines, and not make white (skin) areas too small between coloured areas. Over time, with the natural blurring of lines, very thin gaps will close up. I'm a tattooist, and it's the one thing always needing to be adjusted with commissioned designs people bring in. Cheers! I love your artwork!
Anon = I'm not sure how long I've been practicing, I've been drawing most of my life, I've just picked up this knack for having really clean linework. Not sure how it happened. Glad you like it!
Thistly = Thanks so much for the comment, and the critique! I've definitely always struggled with knowing just how much detail I should include, since I've never worked on skin before or really talked with any tattoo artists, so I'll definitely try and keep that in mind.
