It seems I've been much more greatly influenced by James Jean, with the overlapping, and Nimit Malavia, with the swirled patterns, than I previously thought...Finally, after three months of a complete deluge of schoolwork as I continue to figure out the workings of colour, I managed to snag some time just to sketch for the hell of it...and it just felt so amazingly good, i'd almost forgotten...so I'm going to try my very best to sketch even just a little bit each week to keep me sane, and post at least once a week for those few people who still keep track of me...the piece above it still in progress, and I have a few other ideas itching to get out as well, so it looks promising...
I really can't think of much else to write tonight...I went to see Wintersleep the past Tuesday, and they were amazing, a phenomenal live band...this charming little Australian duo, An Horse, opened for them, and they had some pretty charming stage banter, like this:
"I've only ever worn a jumper on stage twice, and this would be the second time...it's kind of like wearing your pajamas on stage...I guess you guys call them sweaters, we call them 'jumpers' in Australia, but here you might just think of someone getting mugged...I'm wearing a mugger..."
"Oh my, give me the words again, paint it aluminum, make it white, make it white." - Drunk on Aluminium, Wintersleep

wintersleep is brilliant, saw them in pemberton last year....they'd had all their instruments stolen so they played their whole set with equip borrowed from other bands at the festival...very cute.
